Nathan J. Peppler
Nathan "Nate" J. Peppler, age 76, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away Friday, February 23rd, 2007 at St. Luke's Medical Center in
Milwaukee. He was born in Oshkosh on April 28, 1930, the son of George and Lydia (Meyer) Peppler. Nate was a veteran of
the U.S. Air Force ? Weather Service where he served from 1947 to 1951. He married Barbara Hoffmyier on June 11, 1977 in
Oshkosh. They lived in Waupaca until 1984. Nathan and Barb then moved to Colorado until 1987 when they returned to
Wisconsin to be closer to family. He retired from Sales Career in 2005. Nate enjoyed golf, working in his wood working shop,
and spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed all outdoor activities and being a private pilot. Nate also enjoyed his pets,
Sammy and Orbit.
Nate is survived by Wife: Barbara Peppler, Wild Rose; Children: Mark Peppler, Austin, TX; Debra Peppler, Butternut, WI;
Vicki (Mike) Thomack, Hilbert, WI; Mark (Tammy) Hager, Oshkosh; Paul (Pam) Peppler, Berlin; Jan (Nick Arnoldussen)
Schmidt, Marion; Carmen (Jon) Burgett, Waupaca; Sam (Krista) Peppler, Gastonia, NC; John (Pam) Hager, Nichols, WI; Peter
Hager, Big Falls, WI; Twenty-four Grandchildren; Eleven Great Grandchildren; Brothers: Marvin (Audrey) Peppler, Wild Rose;
Duane Peppler, Oshkosh; Charles (Vivian) Peppler, Oshkosh; James (Jean) Peppler, Oshkosh; Sister-in-law: Kathy (Ron)
Fetter, Marion; Brother-in-law: Ken (Mary) Hoffmyier, River Falls.
Nate is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Infant Brother, Duane; Grandson, Jason Case; and Sister-in-law, Betty Peppler.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM on Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community Church in Waupaca
with Father James Vennix officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh. A visitation will be held on
Friday at the church from 9 AM until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca/ Wild Rose assisted the family
with arrangements.
