The first is: "In front of the special services’ Biwako Hotel (by Lake Biwa, Shiga Prep., Japan, MAJ. GEN. GEORGE B. PEPLOE, former C. G for SWC, (HOLDING HIS HAT) says farewell to members of SWC prior to his departure to AFFL’S GI-1 Section, AFFE Headquarters." Photo’s were done at the CAMP OTSU PHOTO LAB in Japan. The second: In front of the special serviced Biwako Hotel (by Lake Biwa, Shiga Prep., Japan, Maj. Gen George B. Peploe, (left with civilian clothes) former C. G.
